    OK.

    As you might have noticed, I have restored a "long" hosts file. This one has the 127 addresses rather than the 0.0.0.0 that was there before I reset to the default hosts file. I thought that that was suspicious when I saw it. Spybot fully immunized this time for the first time in a long time. I often uncheck the global hosts block on Spybot and download a hosts file from a different source.
    I was wondering :shock: what the heck was going on there with the Hosts. As long as you can connect we are done. We need to clean up now with Dellfix, this will remove all tools and logs.. Everything looks good !

    Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
    • Run the tool by right click on the icon and Run as administrator option.
    • Make sure that these ones are checked:
      • Remove disinfection tools
      • Purge system restore
      • Reset system settings
    • Push Run.
    • The program will run for a few seconds and display a notepad report.
      Paste it for my review.
