    Default Downloader.Trojan removal help!!

    Hello,
A week or so ago my Symantec AntiVirus software informed me that my computer is infected with "Downloader.Trojan" but it couldn't fix it. Everytime I try to run AdAware, my computer freaks out and I get the "blue screen of death." I ran ewido and it got rid of other spyware, etc. that I had but I still seem to be getting the pop under ads that this trojan causes. Anyway, here is my hijack this log...any advice would be appreciated SOOO MUCH!! Thanks, Allison

This is the same problem you had back in November of last year. You have a Vundo infection. Before you ask, No, I have no idea how you got it

    Please download VundoFix.exe to

    your desktop.
    1. Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
    2. Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
    3. You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
    4. When VundoFix re-opens - Click the "Scan for Vundo" button.
    5. Once it's done scanning, click the "Remove Vundo" button.
    6. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click "YES".
    7. Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
    8. When completed, VundoFix will prompt that it will shutdown your computer; click "OK".
    9. Turn your computer back on.
    10. Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Yay! That was so easy Thank you sooo much.

I think everything is alright, computer is running well and I was actually able to run AdAware without my computer rebooting!

    Thanks again
