    Default Problem with City of Villians, and spyware

    My City of Villains game keeps saying CohUpdater.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, when i click on info about error it
    says - AppName: cohupdater.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: cohupdater.exe ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000212c

    Ive asked the games support and they said it maybe becuse of spyware and to post this for help.

    Hi munnster, did you put your log through the Help2Go detective? It should really be checked by someone who is qualified to do so, but i put it in and it didnt come up with any spyware/malware. You should follow the steps in http://www.help2go.com/Tutorials/Pro...Hijackers.html
    that guide, if you havent already, and see if helps at all. Other than that it might be your firewall, ive heard that program updates all the time for City of Villians, so you might have to update your firewall to let it through.

    Nosidam gave you and run Spybot, Adaware, Housecall and the Pandasoft scans. Make note of anything that Pandasoft finds and can't fix, by saving the log and posting it.
