If your anti-virus program or anti-spyware program picked up a file called vtsqp.dll - your PC has contracted the Search42 hijacker. This malware program "hijacks" your Internet Explorer browser to always redirect you to malicious websites.

Our resident anti-spyware expert, steamwiz, has written a guide to help you remove vtsqp.dll and the Search42 hijacker from your system.

First, try this automated vtsqp.dll / Search42 removal guide.

If, after a reboot, your browser is still hijacked, try this manual removal guide instead.

Either way, you read our Get Rid of Spyware guide so that your PC can be protected from future hijackers!
