Wikipedia is one of the best known and most visited web sites on the Internet. With over 1.5 million articles spanning every subject known to mankind, it is an invaluable resource. But what about those who don't have Internet access?

SOS Children's Villages, a UK-based charity for orphans, has compiled a CD with 2500 Wikipedia articles that are suitable for children. The entire CD can be downloaded for free from their web site. All you have to do is burn it to a recordable CD, and anyone with a computer can have access to all of those Wikipedia articles!

If you know someone without Internet access (or expensive Internet access), especially a child, please consider giving them this CD.

You can find the CD from Wikipedia, or direct from SOS Children's Villages
