If you see running processes called nfomon.exe or vidmon.exe - you have contracted an adware infection! It is the Delfin Media Viewer, also called Promulgate.

nfomon.exe hides in a folder called "nfomon" in your C:\Windows\System32 folder. vidmon.exe hides in a folder called "vidmon" in your C:\Windows\System32 folder.

The first thing you should try is see if this Delfin Media Viewer appears in your Add/Remove Programs (accessible via the Control Panel). If it is there, go ahead and uninstall it.

Unfortunately, uninstalling it does not completely get rid of the adware. Most spyware and virus programs are now able to remove this adware from your computer. Follow the instructions in our Get Rid of Spyware guide from top to bottom, and your PC will be clean of both nfomon.exe and vidmon.exe adware!
