ErrorSafe is a ROGUE anti-spyware program. It pretends to be a program that will help you fix windows problems, but really it reports false information to try to get you to purchase the program. It is a SCAM.

To get rid of Errorsafe, you should first go through the steps in our Get Rid of Spyware guide. Pay particular attention to Step 3B, where you will install and run Spybot Search and Destroy. Spybot is especially adept at identifying and removing ErrorSafe from your system.

When you run it, make sure it connects to the Internet to download the latest updates. Then have Spybot check your system and fix everything it finds. After it is finished, reboot your computer and run it again. That will ensure that all traces of ErrorSafe have been removed.

If the pop-ups messages from ErrorSafe persist, when you get to the steps that deal with HijackThis and the Help2Go Detective, pay special attention to see if you have any entries in your HijackThis log that refer to ErrorSafe (don't worry - this will make more sense when you read the guide). Follow the directions, and you'll be in good shape.
