ShowLOMControl is a task that is put in to your Windows startup registry keys on certain Dell Computers. It is not spyware.

As jmorlan said here:

"LOM = LAN on Motherboard.
It mean Show "LAN on Motherboard" Control.
On systems where you can install an external LAN interface, it will warn you that you already have a built-in LAN interface.
Appears to be a feature on certain Dell systems."

Our suggestion: you can leave ShowLOMControl in your startup without any ill effects. To see if you have spyware on your PC, we suggest that you follow our simple Get Rid of Spyware guide. It will help you clean your PC and keep it clean.
